As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening quality systems and promoting institutional excellence, Ta’heal for VET Skills Excellence implemented a specialized training program titled “Quality Assurance and Accreditation based on ETQAAN Standards for Applied Technology Schools (ATS)”.
The program was designed to support the development of a strong culture of quality across Applied Technology Schools by enhancing self-evaluation practices and increasing awareness of accreditation requirements and mechanisms in accordance with ETQAAN standards. Through this initiative, participants gained valuable insights into quality management processes that contribute to improving institutional performance and achieving sustainable excellence.
Delivered in collaboration with the Quality Team of the Operations and Management Unit of Applied Technology Schools, the program reflects the strong partnership and coordination efforts dedicated to advancing the applied education ecosystem. The collaboration aimed to ensure the effective implementation of quality standards and support schools in their continuous development journey.
The training brought together academic directors, executive supervisors, and quality officers from various Applied Technology Schools, in addition to members of Ta’heal’s Quality Management team. Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants explored best practices in quality assurance and accreditation while strengthening their capacity to implement quality frameworks within their institutions.
This initiative aligns with the broader 2026 vision for Applied Technology Schools, which places quality and excellence at the heart of educational development. By embedding quality as a continuous and sustainable practice, Ta’heal continues to support schools in enhancing performance, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality educational experiences that prepare students for future success.
