With the participation of more than 90 individuals from migrant communities across Cairo and Giza, Ta’heal for VET Skills Excellence was honored to take part in an awareness event organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Egypt in collaboration with the National Coordinating Committee for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration and Trafficking in Persons, aiming to raise awareness about the risks of irregular migration and highlight safe and sustainable alternatives.
The event represented an important step toward fostering social inclusion and empowering individuals through knowledge, guidance, and access to opportunities that support personal and professional development. By bringing together members of migrant communities, the initiative created a platform for learning, engagement, and meaningful dialogue around pathways for growth and stability.
As part of the event, participants benefited from a series of interactive sessions covering a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurship, digital skills development, legal consultation, mental health awareness, and social support services. These sessions were designed to enhance participants’ capabilities, provide practical knowledge, and help them make informed decisions about their future.
